At Taishan Equity we use Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to develop our affordable modular housing, known as Refab Modublox. We use cross-laminated timber (CLT) for fast construction and a more environmentally friendly building process. CLT results in high performance housing that meets passive house standards.

Refab Modublox is a member of the Australian Passive House Association and a Certified Passive House Tradesperson.

Our Berwick pod house project is the first registered rooming house in Victoria achieving an 8-star energy rating and passive house standards built with CLT pods.
